|Google's Shopping Experience To Improve With Purchase Of Channel Intelligence|

| Update: We’ve now received confirmation from Google that it has signed a deal to acquire CI. A Google spokesperson tells WebProNews, "We want to help consumers save time and money by improving the online shopping experience. We think Channel Intelligence will help create a better shopping experience for users and help merchants increase sales across the web."

Channel Intelligence says it has been acquired by Google. The company announced it on its blog, and ICG Group, which reportedly backs Channel Intelligence has posted a press release. Some publications (like Business Insider and TechCrunch) are reporting the acquisition as fact, but we have yet to see confirmation from Google. [...]
